To build on our learning about Respect, we discussed the need to show respect for birds and other wildlife. We talked about how it can be difficult for birds to find enough food to eat in winter and decided to help them by making seed balls to hang in our school garden!

One small step for man, one giant leap of learning for Class 4. This week the children were star-sailors, exploring the frontiers of space with the help of the multi-sensory experience that was the Space Dome. It was an awe inspiring & yet humbling morning for everyone involved.

After sharing the story of Jack and the Beanstalk, we decided to investigate how beans grow. We planted our beans in clear plastic cups so that we will be able to see the roots. We are excited for our beans to start growing!

This week, the children explored, admired, & sketched an array of winter wonders as an immersion into our enquiry this term, all about the beautiful natural world around us. They have also begun delving into the magical spell book 'The Lost Words', as inspiration for our poetry.
