An amazing voyage to the Maritime Museum. We step on board the Mystery, delved the monstrous depths and had a fabulous day's learning. Thanks to everyone who made it a wonderful day all round.

To support our learning about The Little Red Hen & how materials change, the children made toast! They observed how the bread was changed by the heat of the toaster, & how the butter melted when it came into contact with the warm toast. Mmmm, it was delicious!

Last week, we stepped back in time to Sir Christopher Wren’s 17th century office. We marvelled at his designs of St Paul’s Cathedral & sketched some of his belongings in the office. We have started to see some beautiful home learning themed around ‘The Buildings That Made London’

Independent, collaborative and incredibly creative... The children in Class 3 have been modelling the Human Digestion System as part of their Science learning in school. Amazing home learning participation using Seesaw. #seesawforfamilies #seesaw #homelearning #creative
11:18am - 18th November, 2021
Last week the children learnt more about what it means to be an artist. After looking carefully at their face in a mirror, the children used paint, coloured pencils, string, straw or pipe cleaners to create a self portrait. Well done Reception for being artists!
9:02am - 17th November, 2021
The children were introduced to a programming language called Scratch Junior, where they programmed a character to move. As a class, we also transferred a growing sapling from our science garden into our field, where we hope we will be able to watch it grow.#COP26
